Suzanne Snellenberg

Head of Discovery Services

The drive to share knowledge makes OXGENE a unique place to work at.

As a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Fellow (Horizon 2020), Suzanne joined OXGENE where she was part of the team that developed an automated pipeline for high-throughput generation of gene edited immortalised cell lines and induced pluripotent stem cells. Before joining OXGENE, Suzanne obtained her PhD in Molecular Biology at the VU University Amsterdam where she focused on the identification of epigenetic alterations that arise during HPV-induced cervical carcinogenesis. This was followed by a Postdoc at Oxford University, focussing on genome instability and DNA repair mechanisms in cancer and genome diversification. Suzanne uses her background in academia and industry to further expand OXGENE’s Discovery platforms that accelerate early research and development of cell and gene therapy companies.
